Golam Monowar Kamal, Managing Director and partner of Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited (BVCL), has been appointed as Senator to the Grand Assembly of the World Business Angels Investment Forum. Senator Kamal represents Bangladesh in the Global Investors Committee of the Grand Assembly.

Golam Monowar Kamal is the Managing Director and partner of Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited (BVCL). He has diverse professional experience in during his 27 years of carrier and business experience. He worked in several Internationally development institutions in Asia, Africa and North America. During his carrier he leads several Information and knowledge units of UN-Habitat, UNDP, UNOCHA, WWF and IUCN in 14 countries in various leading positions implement a range of large information management initiatives, development funding initiatives. He has extensively traveled more than 80 countries around the world. Prior to join United Nations, he managed several key resource planning and management projects in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Nigeria, Libya and Bangladesh.  In 1999, he was awarded as International-fellow by WWF-US in Washington-DC. He is also founder of several Non-profit organization and an Angel Investor. Since 2015, he is also acting as the Director of Innovation Hub & Daffodil Business Incubator of Daffodil International University, Dhaka Bangladesh. Golam Monowar Kamal
