Seipati is a consummate professional with more than 15 years working experience, a decade of which was in various leadership roles in the Financial Services Sector. A "born" strategist with a demonstrated history of working in the Banking Sector, Personal Finance and Wealth Management, Business and People Development.
Equality and people development being the underlying passion that drives and informs her leadership style and entrepreneurial spirit - she is the founder and Chief Executive of Southern African Women In Leadership.
Passionate about developing Africa, she is the strategist and innovator behind HD Afrika, a digital marketplace and platform set to connect the continent and ultimately provide solutions for socio-economic challenges exacerbated by #COVID-19 and beyond.
Her role as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer is to effectively create and implement innovative and impact driven strategies aimed at building an eco-system that will leapfrog HD Africa and position it as a key global player in technology and innovation. Through her broad understanding of the local, continental and global business framework - she leads efforts to meaningfully engage and work alongside diverse stakeholder groups to systematically address the digital divide across the African continent.
Part of the role is to proactively pursue and cultivate continental development opportunities and partnerships that are consistent with HD Afrika’s mission, while being innovative and entrepreneurial.
She is responsible for the development and persuasion of successful proposals. Builds support and partnerships to promote programs and projects that advance impact priorities in a scalable and sustainable manner. She also engages in the general operations and financial aspects of the organization to effectively lead, manage, and align resources for top performance, including but not limited to financial statements and budgets. Over and above the key responsibilities mentioned above, she assists with negotiating appropriate roles, responsibilities, and compensation for snr staff and partners supported by contracts, fee for services agreements, and grants; identifies and secures diversified funding streams and business model(s)..
